Data Business Analyst, Financial Systems

Must have
- 5+ years of experience as a senior Data Business Analyst
- Familiarity with MS SQL required, Azure highly desirable
- Solid knowledge of ETL and data architecture best practices
- Good knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices
- Experience with data tools (mostly agnostic here but Tableau would be nice)
- Experience with large data projects
- Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and deliver results
- Familiar with the overall data industry landscape in terms of technologies, tools, and best practices
- Skills in implementing new business processes and refactoring old ones
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements including acceptance criteria
- Grooming user stories, working in an Agile CI/CD environment, etc.
- Experience scoping, sizing, and planning deliverables
- Experience participating in or leading in the development of test plans
Would be a plus
- Experience with different methods of requirements gathering. (Groups/Questionnaires/Interviews)
- Ability to work effectively on multiple priorities with strict timelines for deliverables
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve problems
- Ability to converse in both technical and business terminology and concepts
- Experience/familiarity with data governance and data management
- Other DB technologies are a bonus
- Experience with data profiling, modeling and/or mappin
