About the vacancy

The client is building a new Portfolio Management system from scratch. The work has already been started by our team and we have delivered the first MVP, now the main implementation phase is approaching. The project extensively uses AWS cloud tools and a Java-based stack.

You will be a part of a Scrum team working on a common objective. The team is self-managing and has the freedom to define the architecture and delivery process. Each team will have its own highly skilled PO, BA, QA, and DEVs. We will listen to your voice, remove obstacles, support you and the team by all means possible and in return, we expect responsibility and progress.

We expect the specialist to help with the Scrum and Agile process playing the key role of Scrum Master. The expectation is that in other projects/engagements you show readiness to take Scrum Master or casual Project Manager role depends on the project needs and business context.

Must have

  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects
  • Knowledge of project management theory
  • Understanding of the main phases of the software development life cycle
  • Experience using popular development methodologies and project practices
  • Skills of employee management: motivation, evaluation, conflict resolution
  • Skills using bug tracking systems and report generators
  • Experience with risk management
  • Skills working with clients: analysis and expectation management, feedback gathering, discussing requirements
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience with Agile methodology
  • Сritical thinking
  • Good written and spoken English

Would be a plus

  • Technical background
  • Experience working with fixed price projects and T&M projects in service IT companies
  • Experience of working in finance domain
  • Experience managing a group of projects and tracking the status of implementation
